Join us at Together at the Town Hall
We’re excited to be part of Together at the Town Hall, a week‑long celebration bringing our community together through fun activities, helpful advice, and opportunities to connect.
This fantastic event, hosted by Barnsley Council from Monday 16 – Saturday 21 February, offers something different each day and welcomes people of all ages.
Throughout the week, you’ll find a brilliant mix of family‑friendly workshops, creative activities, performances, health and wellbeing support and more with each day having its own theme.
You’ll find our teams there from Monday 16 – Wednesday 18 February from 10am - 3pm daily. Keep reading to see what we’ll be getting up to!
Monday 16 February - family day
Start the week with a range of family-friendly activities, games and creative crafts for kids while adults can access financial advice and community stalls. Our Neighbourhood team will be on hand offering support with general housing queries and tenancy advice in room 13.
Tuesday 17 February - live well day
A day where you can get advice on saving money and how to boost your health and wellbeing through fun, interactive activities. You’ll see different teams from Berneslai Homes there including:

Wednesday 18 February – celebrating our borough
Celebrate Barnsley’s people and places with arts and crafts, museum-led activities, and creative workshops that help us all to love where we live. You’ll see our Engagement team there sharing the different opportunities for you to have your say, shape our services and get more involved in what we do. You’ll also get to experience our pop-up human library – a chance to sit down with a stranger and read a human book.
Come and see us in room 5!
See you there
Whether you're stopping by for practical advice, looking for engaging activities for the kids during half term, or keen to explore what services are available locally, there’s plenty to enjoy.
